DS-156 question
Hi,
I was planning to go to India and after a lot posts and advice from various
members (thanks a lot to the guys who responded, especially Ingo the great
!!!), I have decided not to go and get my visa stamped from St. Louis.
I had a question about the DS-156 form. The form asks if my visa application
was ever rejected.
When I came to the US in 97' on F1, my visa application was rejected the
first time at the Delhi consulate for lack of sufficient papers. Should I
give this info on the DS-156 ?

Yes. Attach a paper with a short explanation (not more than one
paragraph). The most important information the officer will be looking for
is probably a sentence such as "application was resubmitted with more
documentation and approved" (of course, only if this is true).
