Default DS-156

More confusion, it says on the form..

"Have you ever been arrested or convicted for any offense or crime, even though subject of a pardon, amnesty or other similar legal action? Have you ever unlawfully distributed or sold a controlled substance(drug), or been a prostitute or procurer for prostitutes?"

I got a conviction for affray, but i never sold drugs or been a prostitute, so do i pick yes or no?

Hi:

The truth. I just took a break for some work I'm doing at home -- and just read In re Grand Jury Subpoena, United States v. Under Seal, 341 F.3rd 331 (4th Cir. 2003) where there appeared to be a CRIMINAL PROSECUTION of someone with a prior shoplifting conviction who answered "no" to that very question, albeit on Form I-485.

So, should you lie or should you tell the truth? You are required to tell the truth.

Well i admitted my conviction already to them, i just got a tad confused with this question, as i thought it meant was i convicted for prostitution or drugs, which i have not, only been convicted of affray, so i gonna put yes & hope they dont think i been involved in drugs or prostitution, as i only have one conviction, that for affray & not sure if that is a serious offence for them to deny me entry.
