Doing AOS After Yr K-1 Marriage?
Then do yourself and your spouse a big favor and read the links on the Mysterious Brown Envelope URL. This is the envelope that was given to the foreign fiancee after a successful K-1 interview. He/she left it at the POE. Now it is your turn to read up on what to do after you marry and are about to file for the AOS for your foreign spouse.
Find your state and INS office and read what is required by them for filing , written by people who actually filed their petitions there. Discover if you can walk in the petition or have to mail it in. Find out how long a wait for a one year EAD and/or Advance Parole. Do they take checks or money orders? Is there a long line? Are they friendly? Or obnoxious?
Find your state and INS office and what read what others have to say about the actual interveiw they attended for the green card.
