Does anybody know where I can download some forms of packet 3?
I was just wondering if I can download some of the forms "if any" from the internet or not? I really don't know what is sent in packet 3 anyways, but just wondering if we could somehow be ready with some of the forms filled out.

different consulates might have different requirements, but if I remember correctly you or your fiance speak Spanish? are you by chance going through Mexico? if so, you are in luck....i have their website right here

scroll down to fiance visa...the only thing i think you would need to do is a separate search on the DS-156..if i remember correctly the second page isn't scanned here...

Thanks for trying to help out, but no, we're not going through Mexico, my husband is from Spain. I'll take a look at it anyway, maybe it's something similar.

I too was looking for the forms ahead of time to download. I found them all, but it turned out that my fiance received all the forms in Spanish. And I could only locate English verisions. (I searched a lot!). So you'll probably have to wait to get packet 3 before filling anything out. But you can at least see the information you'll need by looking at the English forms.
You can download the DS forms from here: http://www.state.gov/m/a/dir/c4456.htm
And the other immigration forms from here: http://uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/index.htm
One thing you can do ahead of time is get the other items you'll need, like birth certificate and police certificate. Look at the embassy webiste (link in Steffi's reply) for the list. We found out, however, that the info on the embassy site about getting the police certificate was not exactly right. Look here for how to do it: http://www.mju.es/mpenales_cer.htm
Good luck!

You can find lots of the forms at Greg Siskind's "Visalaw.com" site:
http://www.visalaw.com/forms/index.html
Personally I use the form/database program at www.immigrantsoftware.com. But they charge! Their value is in the database -- fill out the G-325A for hubby and his info appears on wife's G-325A and then the info from both appear on the I-130 and then the I-485.
In filling out the forms, it is nice if you have the full blown Acrobat program and not just the free "Reader" -- you WILL make typographical mistakes and with Reader generated forms, you would have to do it all over again to correct mistakes.
[BTW, if you see a small typographical error on the printed form -- there is nothing wrong with using one line to cross out the error and "interlineate" the correction by hand.
Good luck.
