Hi,

I have my visa appointment in London on 8/12/08 and I just received a phone call (message) on Friday 5/12/08 that I need to bring my approval form I-797?

I have never received a form I-797 and I only have the approval form I-171.

Should I be worried and do you think they got the forms mixed up. It's now Saturday and my appointment in on Monday morning so there is no way of contacting them.

I did try to look up this form but could only find it to be a reference to a family based visa.

I am a bit concerned that they waited so long to make me aware of this form especially as I have never seen this form. I hope they just got the forms mixed up.

Any advise would be great to settle my nerves.

If memory serves, both forms serve the same purpose... so no worries.

I figured that would be the case. Fancy ringing on the last day of the week and not getting it right. In any case I can't do anything before the interview so why worry anyway.
