If one gets a divorce before the person goes to the AOS interview is the I-134 still
valid as far as support?

It becomes enforceable when filed.

If a couple gets divorced before the AOS is processed, the "K-1er" is now out of
status and must return to their home country. They have no legal status to remain in
the US and cannot adjust status by any other means. Take Care. Shelley It has been
noted in these NGs that the I-134 is considered unenforceable by the INS, which is
why the I-864 is used for the AOS.
