Hey, long time since I posted!!!
I would like to just say that the wife and I did break up for a few months but now...life's "magic".![Thumbs Up](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I wouldn't tell the wife this but the breakup did us wonders by all means. Divorce is just not on the list at all, we have worked through it all, which of course not everything is perfect but much better than it was.
Needless to say, I wasn't saying that I was definately insinuating a divorce but rather looking at my options "incase" of the inevitable.
Life's a little rough still with work etc... but those things are just materialistic.
So please anyone who is in the same position I was in 6months ago try to work things through, and if things get really bad, a temp seperation worked for me it helped us both appreciate each other more.
I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the post.

glad to hear it worked out in the end - its always a very sad case when a marriage breaks down.
I must agree a temp break can make all the difference. I had to move away from my then boyfriend for work many years ago. He wasnt happy and he finished it as he felt the long distance was too much. We kept in touch though and he found that he was EVEN more unhappy without me and we got back together after 2 months. Suffice to say we have now been married almost 10 years in feb and have 2 kids now!
