Default discouraging comments about K-1 time.....

My Dear God,

Now reading this group for a month or so, I have heard some discouraging
comments about K-1 time.....

Simple question.

After your K-1 has been cabled by INS (Nebraska in my case - 70 to 100 days)
to (in my case Warsaw, Poland) what is the realistic time-line to fiancé's
interview to the Grand final to VISA ISSUED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR BEST GUESS..

I don't know about processing time in warsaw but don't believe the 70-100 days for Nebraska. Many of us are well over 140 days.

Hi:

I don't do timelines because in 27 years of doing this stuff, I've found out that I'm always wrong! Besides, one of my early I-130 cases involved a man petitioning for his identical twin daughters -- one I-130 took 21 days, the other 9 months.

However, I will tell you this: Warsaw is one of the more user-friendly and efficient consulates I've run across.

Have you seen anything like the Moscow situation before, where they just
stop issuing visas? if so how long until they started again?
just wondering.
