DCF Question
 

Hello, everyone

How long do you think we have to wait before getting in touch with the embassy about the status of our case? When do the DCF applicants usually contact the Consulate? How long is it before we get the packet 3? It's a little less than a month since we applied and plan on going to the embassy at the end of next week.

What consulate?

We called them 1 or 2 days after filing the I-130, and I negotiated an
earlier interview date.
By that time it had already gone from the INS group there to the
consulate staff.
We picked up the forms at the consulate the day we filed.
