For anyone interested here are the details
On June 8th we sent an email to the Moscow Consulate regarding our case and on June 10th this is what we got:
"Dear Mrs. K,
Thank you for your inquiry.
Please be advised that the I-130 Petition for Alien Relative filed on behalf
of
your husband Mr. C was approved by DHS Immigration on June 1, 2004,
and
forwarded to the Consular Section of the Embassy on the same day. The
Consular
Section will handle all further processing, including your husband's
interview
and the issuance of an Immigrant Visa.
The Consular Section may be contacted by e-mail at [email protected], or by
telephone at (095) 258-2525.
Please do not hesitate to contact us, should you have further questions.
Sincerely,
Public Liaison Unit
Department of Homeland Security--Immigration
United States Embassy, Moscow
(095) 255-9551"
I only left the initials instead of our names. That means that on Tuesday (it's holiday on Monday here in Russia) we are going to the Embassy to pick up the Packet 3. We are very excited! We were told that it was going to be quite a long time since my wife is a naturalized citizen/ But hey, it took less than a month! DCF is really the way to go!!! Can someone tell me what is included in the packet 3? How long do we have to wait for the interview? Thanks for your replies and support!
