Re: DCF London Processing
We received the LND number yesterday with the details to book the medical, after the initial application was accepted on 29 June.

When you say "accepted June 29" is that the date you were advised your Petition was approved by USCIS and your application has been passed to the Visa Unit at US Embassy London? Good luck with the next stages.🙂 There are a few with similar date lines. Hopefully the LND details are winging, or will be winging, there way to them soon. 🤔 as a matter of interest, what is the first letter of the Surname of Petitioner and Beneficiary? I ask as there appears to be no rhyme nor reason as to the order by which the LND is issued. Curious...... |

yes, that was when the petition was approved. My surname begins with W and hers begins with C.
i haven’t posted this to any other forums. It's encouraging that you have received your LND number - your I-130 approval date is the same as mine and Stuwoolf's. I also follow the DCF London thread on the Visajourney forums - there are quite a few people on there whose I-130s were approved a few weeks before ours, but have not yet received their LND numbers. Therefore, as Stuwoolf says "there appears to be no rhyme nor reason as to the order by which the LND is issued." |

Thanks for sharing. If I recall correctly, you initially filed your I-130 online back in March before realising that you could do it via DCF and the Embassy advised you to cancel your initial electronic petition - how fortunate that you did that! If you had filed electronically you would still probably be waiting to hear from the NVC.

🤔 The Petitioner (or is that the Beneficiary?) is C, I wonder......
Also, didnt you mention previously this was a company transferring you to US? Yes, you are correct, I will be transferring internally with my company to the US. My partner has a job offer already and that shouldn’t be impacted by Covid thankfully. |
Re: DCF London Processing
Hi All
I'm in the final stages of the London DCF process. I have my LDN number received on 12 March. DS-260 has been submitted and have the embassy appointment booked for next Thursday 20th August. My medical all went fine except a missing vaccination. I have a GP appointment for 18th August to get the missing vaccination. I'm thinking that won't be enough time to get the evidence ready for the embassy interview. I have asked Visa Medicals to check. I tried to change the embassy appointment but I'm not seeing any available dates after 20th. Does anyone know when new appointments are made available? Thanks Jon |
