Default DCF in London with Indefinite Leave to Enter

Hi,

I am a US citizen living in the UK. I have Indefinite Leave to Enter until I have lived here for 2 years, and then get Indefinite Leave to Remain.

My question is this: Is there any rule that states that I must live in the UK for 2 years and have ILR before DCFing through London? I have now lived in the UK non-stop for 9 months and would like to file the I130 for my husband.

TIA.

I have Limited Leave to Remain (some people call it Further Leave to Remain; I think that's what you have now). I married my UK husband on July 2, and we filed DCF on July 8. Our I-130 has been approved and we have an interview date next week.

Best of luck ~ you shouldn't have a problem.
