DCF London
Hi My Names Paul,
Ive been married to my American Wife for over 2 yrs now and we both reside here in the Uk with our 2 children.
We have decided to move to the U.S.A to live and are doing this hopefully through DCF, ive check a few requirments i have no criminal record health problems etc. but we are a bit ( in easy terms lol) dumb in how to start off, we set out already got our forms filled out I-130 and the G-325a and photocopied wifes passport with here stamp from home office showing indefinate leave to remain in uk, her letter from home office explain this, marriage certificates birth certificates, and our adit photos which cost $40 on our trip to usa last week wow cost a lot at Kinko's :-).
we have all these read, is it just a case of sedning it away, or do we need some kind of covering letter. We just want to be fully prepared and i guess its nercy thinking we may have forgotton something or doing it wrong ets
any help would be appreciated

Re: DCF London
Hello Paul,
We're about to go through the same process. All the information you
need is here http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_web/ins/i130filing.htm
or just do a search on this newsgroup for DCF London, you'll find any
information you need.
From what you've written you seem to have the first part undercontrol.
What about sponsership/assests? Do you fulfill the requirements or
will you need a joint sponser? You'll also need to get hold of your
immunisation records. Best that get that sorted asap.
As far as sending in the application, the instructions you need are on
your I-130 form. I wouldn't bother sending in a covering letter as all
the information they will need is on the forms. I assume you have
G-325a's for both of you. I'll be posting mine off this weekend so it
will be interesting to see who gets a response first
Good luck!
Ellie
