I've been reading this group for a couple of months now and I'd like to hear
from those who have brought a fiancé from the Philippines. I'm going to be
traveling there in February to spend a week with my fiancé and double check
our 129F paperwork and I'd like to hear from those who have brought fiancé's
from there. I'll be in Manila and I'm wondering if it would be best to do a
Direct Consular Filing or to go ahead and file our I-129F with the TSC upon
my return. Considering the possibility of avoiding the average 6 month wait
dealing with the TSC makes a DCF very attractive but I'm sure I don't have
all the information I need yet to make that choice. Are there any
prerequisites or disqualifying conditions to doing a DCF, or is that method
not recommended and why. If I have to file with the TSC then I have to but
any information from those having dealt with the embassy in Manila would be
welcomed.

Manila doesnt do DCF... You can do a search on the net and find a list of
countries that do it. Manila, Philippines is not one of them /

Hi,
I don't think DCF is done in the Philippines. Had it been done here, my fiance and me would have been considering that already.
Good luck.
