Just passing on a piece of good fortune that we had last week.
I'm waiting for my interview date in London for a spouse visa. We had
to make a trip to the States for a few days at the end of January and
on the plane my wife asked if there was anything to stop us having our
I-864 notarised in the States.
I couldn't see any problem with that so we printed a set out when we
got there and had them notarised free at the bank.
Now my wife doesn't need to come to the interview in London, saving
two days off work and boarding the dog while we are away.
I checked with the embassy in London and they have no problem with
accepting the I-864 already notarised.
