Yet it *was* apparently updated to reflect an approval on 3/28?? Maybe they are holding us status quo so they can just whisk us through?
/hoping for a miracle

My fiance' and I filed Nov. 22 last year. We were told 34 -64 days. The website
updated on the 64th day to a 205 to 235 day wait. I have faxed the CSC three
times to three different numbers and received no reply.
I emailed Congressman Miller and received a reply by phone from one of his
offices. To be brief, they are doing an inquiry into our case (three weeks into
waiting for that). I urge anyone to do the same with their representatives. The
CSC was busted last year for shredding 90,000 cases in order to "get back on
schedule", The case went to court in January of this year. Apparently, the CSC
is notorious for screwing people.
I thought I was alone with the 205 day wait...I'd be intersted in hearing from
more people like me for a petition or class action suit...I have an attorney.

Write your Congressman...the document shredding ended in April of last year
(I'm sure yours wasn't one of them), however the CSC was a mess for a while
after that... Your Congressman will assign a liason to do an inquiry on your
case with the INS.
My fiance is from Yugoslavia and I wonder if some petitions take longer
depending on which country the fiance is from.
