We're from 29th Nov and still haven't been approved.
I'm starting to get really paranoid that something's wrong when some from
almost 2 weeks after us have been approved already!

Nov. 27th Sent I-129F to CSC via certified express mail (a touch overkill)

Hi, my first NOA is 1/03/03 and still waiting also. Hopefully they will come
back soon. I actually called the CSC today, got through and when the man did
not know the answer to my question he took my phone number and called me back
with the answer. I was in complete shock!

207Lonsdale looking at your timeline makes my blood run cold, I admit......since I too now am facing RFE.
Has your congressperson been of any help? Do you mind sharing what the nature of your RFE was? That long just for a follow-up makes 0 sense to me whatsoever.

The reason for our RFE was quite simple in that Kem's original divorce papers lacked a Judge's signature, you can imagine how frustrating it is that after 93 days we are still waiting for an officer to verify a Judge's signature! Initial processing of our case took less time and in all we have now been waiting over 160 days since first filing the I-129F
![Sad](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/sad.gif)
Our online status intially confirmed that we would have to wait a further 30 days, however, this was changed in the last few weeks and now states that we can expect to wait anything up to 235 days!! I know that the online status is regarded as nothing more than fiction, but what else do we have as a guideline?
To be honest, I very much doubt you will be subjected to a long wait once you return your RFE. I will be waiting to see how quickly you get your 2nd NOA after returning the RFE .... I guess that if we are still waiting after you are approved we will know for sure that our file has been lost! It would seem that Kem & I are set to be the shining example of all that could possibly go wrong when filing a petition with the CSC!
For now Kem has said that he will not file another petition with the CSC if they have lost our file ....... I dare not think about that too much!!

Just talked to someone at the National Customer Service Center who said that the current waiting time after returning an RFE is 4 months! I asked what the current waiting time was for people who have just filed and the answer ........ 4 months!!
I have always thought RFE's were dealt with more quickly, but not according to this guy! Mind you, what does he know anyway? I could call that number again and again, speak to different people and get different answers from all of them!
I also asked him what we could do if 4 months pass and we have not heard anything .... he said, "You can't do anything, you just wait".
Don't think I will bother calling the NCSC again!

Over the 7 months or so I've been subscribed to this NG any information
provided by INS/BCIS phone reps has consistently been garbage.

My fiance' and I filed Nov. 22 last year. We were told 34 -64 days. The website
updated on the 64th day to a 205 to 235 day wait. I have faxed the CSC three
times to three different numbers and received no reply.
I emailed Congressman Miller and received a reply by phone from one of his
offices. To be brief, they are doing an inquiry into our case (three weeks into
waiting for that). I urge anyone to do the same with their representatives. The
CSC was busted last year for shredding 90,000 cases in order to "get back on
schedule", The case went to court in January of this year. Apparently, the CSC
is notorious for screwing people.
I thought I was alone with the 205 day wait...I'd be intersted in hearing from
more people like me for a petition or class action suit...I have an attorney.
