Question cr1 NVC passes file to London

Hi everyone
I just got a letter from the NVC in New Hampshire saying they have passed my file onto the American Embassy in London.( dated .Oct 21 ,2004)

My prioriy date is 31OCT 2003
Has anyone any idea what happens next or how long it will take?

I'm going to be spending xmas and new year with my wife in Virginia and i don't want to miss anything while i'm away.

My wife has already filed the I-864 with the NVC so i am assuming that all is in order for the next stage.

Hope some one out there understands all this more than me, my head is full after reading about immigration for the past 2 years.lol

Also, i've been reading about the interview, needing originals and copies of certain documents.Do they mean just photocopies or verified copies?
