Default A couple of AOS questions, Form I-864A, USCIS Status, I-94 number

Hi, I came here on a K-1, got married, doing AOS paperwork now. Just a couple of questions:

1. Form I-864A, Contract Between Sponsor and Household Member. My husband is my sole sponsor, he meets the requirements alone, do I/we need to fill this out?

2. This might be a stupidly obvious question, but is my I-94 number (as requested on I-485) the very large number under "departure number"?

3. The I-485 asks for "Current USCIS Status". What would my status be, as a K-1-er whose K-1 doesn't expire till end of August but is now married?

I think that's all the questions I have right now (phew!). Thanks for all your help.

Hi Synth,
1. The form I-864A is only required to be filed if your husband doesnt
make the income requirments on his own. Did you know they have a new
form for the I-864 make sure you fill out the correct one. I think the
new one is I-864EZ but there are certian requirements for the new form.
2. Your I-94 number is on your (usually)white card u should have in
your passport. I wouldnt say it is a very large # but it is written on
the card. The numbers will match the # of spaces so just count them
up.
3. As for you "current uscis status" i am not exactly sure but when i
filed out my papers I put "PENDING" but please don't quote me on what
you should write.

If you have any ?'s you could always call the 1800 # an ask them for
help.

Good luck with you journey

in south Florida that I want to sell you!
(I'm sorry. I just HAD to say that)
