Asarekin,

This site <http://hometown.aol.com/nycshyguy2003/> contains the entire contents of Packet #3 for Bangkok, Thailand, plus a few other odds and ends. I think you'll find that the English-language documents are typical of what you will find in Packets #3 and #4 at most other consulates. But remember - each consulate may have it's own versions of some things, may have some things that other consulates do not use, and may not use some things that other consulates do use.

Regards, JEff

We are still waiting for NVC, but I have been searching for an answer to the same question.

Our consulate, Guangzhou, posts a list of the contents on its own website. You might try checking with yours. You could also check the lists that are posted for other consulates if yours does not post a list (e.g., JEffs), but I have been finding that not all consulates are the same. That is, whatever answer you find, consider it with regard to generalities rather than presume it to be the same for your consulate.

From what I can tell, they all will want to see evidence of support and they all will want to see evidence of a relationship.

In addition to finding that not all consulates are the same, I am finding that ours is apparently inconsistent in what they want. E.g., they list the I-864 (affidavit of support) as included with P3, but then they state in the FAQ that the I-134 (affidavit of support) is required. Conversations that Zhengyu has had on the Chinese 001 forum suggest that some people have been asked to show one form, while some have been asked to show the other.

I got our packet 3 from Bangkok consulate.
Here's what I received.
A letter
An instruction and a checklist
DS230 with Thai language on one side
DS156 with Thai language on one side
DS156K with Thai language on one side
DS157 with Thai language on one side
I134 the affidavit of support and an instruction sheet
A sheet of instruction and addresses of those places where physical exam can
be performed.
Forms for medical doctor to fill out.

That's about it.

The instruction states clearly that Forms 230, 156, 156k, 157 must be filled
everything out and mailed right away.
It also states that my fiance must obtain all of the documents needed from
the checklist. She then must mail it for the appointment.

Bobzy,

You might want to check with a Yahoo group called Asian-American Couples, which is predominantly people with Chinese fiancees. They a have the complete contents of Packets #3 and #4 from Guangzhauin the Forms section of the group site.

Caldaron,

Is the instruction sheet you have different from the one posted on the web site I referenced? If it is, please send a copy of your instruction sheet to the owner of that site (I believe there is a contact e-mail address shown at the site.)

Also, did your Packet #3 not include the OF-156 (BNK SUPPLMENT), a dual language form specific to the Bangkok consulate?

Regards, JEff

The sheet is from the consulate itself. It's the same as everyone else
except they used the white out to take the word NOT out of there. I guess
it's just the way they do their business there.

You are correct. 156, 156k, and 157 are in the packet too.
They want all of them sent alogn with OF230 right away.

JEff:

I can't find anything called Asian-American Couples. I've tried every combination of spellings (asianamericancouples, asian-americancouples, asian-american%20couples, etc.) -- no luck. I'm interested in this group -- any thoughts on other names to search?

Google did return something called Asian American Romance on Yahoo. I joined to see what it was -- OMG! The post at the top was by a gal who wanted to talk about just getting a two year p^$$y checkup (whatever that is!), then a long list of posts on a thread about how Asian women on dating fourms are actually men with sex change operations, another one from a woman whining about how men on the board are afraid of three-somes ... that was enough of a peek for me. Surely, this is not the forum you meant! Interesting diversion, nonetheless.

Caldaron,

I would like to see the instruction sheet you have. As you describe it, it is clearly different from the instruction sheet I have seen and is posted on NYCSHYGUY's web site. When did you get this sheet from the consulate in Bangkok?

I would also like to invite you to look in on the Thai-Farang group on Delphi, <http://forums.delphiforums.com/ThaiFalang/start> We would welcome your participation.

Regards, JEff
