Michelle:
What horrible news, after all this waiting!! I have to agree with everyone who mentioned it - a serious talk with your husband would probably be a very good thing. Even if there's a possibility of it turning into anything you "don't want to hear", at least everything will be out in the open. Of course, it could be, as another poster suggested, that they just do random "fraud checks", but this is getting ridiculous. You guys can get through this - look at how far you've already come! Just one more hurdle to jump. Good luck...and keep us posted. My thoughts are with the two of you.

Michelle, I don't believe for a second their claim that the "case has
not been laying dorrmant"------I would stay in touch with your
congressman's office, weekly if need be.

This is a situation that really bothers me, and if Congress can push
thru leglislation for adopted kids overseas (to maximise a 45 day
process time), then most certainly, something needs to be done for cases
like yours-----and safly, I have a feeling we will be hearing even MORE
of these stories in the future, from other people.
Ashcroft was interviewed about 2 months ago and said the "security
concerns outweigh any speedy immigrant visa processing"......but what
about LAW-ABIDING citizens? WERE the ones these laws (Patriot, etc.) are
targeting, and were the ones getting *****d!!!

I understand. After all, the picture only shows the top half. She must take after her father for the lower half, making her a mermaid, and you wouldn't want the media to get all over that!!

When you don't hit something hard, you hit it safly.
It works best when said with a birmingham accent

Yeah, for someone who claims to be a journalist and international human rights activist ........ Her spelling and grammar are atrocious.
