OK, OK, OK, everyone! I am not advocating marriage fraud, I think you all know me well enough for THAT! I am simply acknowledging that there have been excellent first-cousin marriages on which people have acquired LPR status. My goodness, what would Victoria say?
If the original poster happens to be in such a relationship with one of her cousins, an LPR marriage application could fly.

I'd got as far as working out the aunts and uncles might be useful as financial co-sponsors should Amanda meet a handsome but poverty-stricken American boy and be that way inclined.....but I'm afraid I couldn't pull it as far as Counselor Fong.
