Default Ciudad Juarez Visa Interview

I am in Mexico and my husband (a US citizen) filed an I-130 back in
June of 2002. We finally got to the point of submitting my visa
application and I am now waiting for the appointment for my visa
interview in Ciudad Juarez. Can someone please tell me how much time I
should expect to wait to get the visa after the interview. Your help
is very much appreciatd!!

I don't know if Mexico is different, but I think it is normally on the same day or within a day or two.

Hi i just got back from Jureaz you can email the conslate and give them your case number from the NVC and they can tell you where you are at but it takes about 2-3 months for the interview for the k -3 , but you and your husband in the USA will get a letter telling of your appointment . where are you in Mexico
but the issuse the visa the same day it is approved

Are you saying that I will also have to apply for a k-3 after I get my
visa? If yes, will I be able to go the US to be with my husband when I
receive the visa after the interview or do I have to stay in Mexico
until the k-3 is approved? I'm confused about all of this!

I sent in the visa application about a month ago. Do I understand your
message correctly that I will have to wait another 2-3 months for the
interview?

I am in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. Thanks for your reply.

No te confundas Edith.
