Dear friends, Hello, I've just gotten engaged and am looking into starting the
process to bring my betrothed back home with me. I've read up on some of the average
times for getting and receiving different packets, but I've also read that GuangZhou
is a special case. I'm hoping to have her ready for her interview in early May, is
that at all possible? Collection of her documents shouldn't be a problem, I'm worried
about how long the GZ consullate will take to process the forms. I'm affraid that if
I begin to early, Packet
2 (Ithink) will expire before she can get to GZ. The big problem is that she's a
student and doesn't have a lot of time off school. Would it be a good idea to
get everything done now and, assuming everything goes though quickly, get an
extention for several months before she goes for the interview? Can anyone give
me some advice about how to plan for timelines? Thanks in advance for any help.
