On the DS-156K we indicated my fiancé's daughter will not accompany
immediately, but will follow. Because she will not travel immediately, but
we intend her to come within 6 months. We inlcuded her on all the other
paperwork, of course.

When my fiancé called the embassy they told us she will not need medical
exams, etc for her daughter because she will not be traveling immediately
with us. We were, however, intending on getting her visa authorization at
the same time as my fiancés and having her travel within the 4-6 month time
allotted by her visa.We don't want to have to go through this whole process
again for our daughter when we can get everything approved now.

I am not sure if the embassy employee gave my fiancé bad advice, or if we
did the form wrong. Can anyone advise me please on how to determine this for
sure. If we did the form wrong, should we just proceed to the embassy
interview with all the paperwork for both my fiancé and her daughter and see
if they can't "fix" things? I think we did everything properly, but I have a
few doubts now. One thing is that the paperwork my fiancé was mailed from
the embassy only had English medical forms for her, not her daughter. But, I
am not sure if this is normal, or not. THANKS!
