Can a joint sponsor live in another state?

Hi Everyone, I need to know if a joint sponsor can still sponsor me if we live in diffrent states? I live in AZ and they live in NYC

any input would be great.

Yes, the joint sponsor can live anywhere in the USA. The joint sponsor must be a USC or PR and live in the USA. Doesn't have to be the same state you live in.

Hi:

Since 1912, both New York and Arizona have both been states in the United States.
