Can I send in downloaded form instead those mailed from with Packet3?

Can I send in downloaded form instead those mailed from with Packet3?

Can you answer this question? I would like to type using Acrobat
Reader then fill the form with pen!

Anyways.. I do see the form sent with Packet 3 look different then the
downloaded version..

I have a big letter "K3" on the DS-230 Part 1 form.. other then that I
didn't see any difference..

I used the downloaded form for DS-230 Part 1 and faxed that to the Vancouver consulate. The only difference is the typed "K3" at the top. It has not been an issue.

Aren't you suppose to send the forms to consulate? Why did you fax them the form?

So the answer is this is no problem to use printed PDF forms!?
