Can I check EAD status??
Is there a way to check the status of my wife's EAD app. in Chicago? It has
been about 65 days or so, and we haven't received an appointment letter.

Send a letter to the office (Attn: Status Inquiry) with a copy of your filing
receipt. Request an appointment for an Interim EAD if they can't get
you an appointment for the Regular EAD soon.
