Default Can anyone verify this ???

I just got off the phone with the national 800 immigration customer
service people and I want to know if anyone can verify the information
she gave me. Honestly I don't trust anything they say!
I'm in US on K3 I'm awaiting my I-130 approval from TSC. My K3 and EAD
are going to expire in June and I want to extend them both.

Can you tell me if there is any truth in what she has told me:

1. I-130 for Spouse form US Citizen takes 26 months to approve?
*Online it's saying it will take 999 days thru TSC?*
2. I can not apply for AOS until I receive my Approved I-130?
3. When extending my EAD and K3 because I haven't applied for AOS I
only need to include the I-797 for I-130 that is pending for proof?
4. Once my I-130 is approved and I go to apply for AOS I have to apply
via mail with my medical results to the chicago local office?

I'm not sure she knew what she was talking about and I want to make
sure that this is correct. I plan on going back to Canada to visit and
want to make sure I don't have any problems. Everytime I go back they
ask me if I've applied for AOS and I have to tell them no, not yet.
This time I want to tell them that I can't apply till my I-130 is
approved! I really don't have the money to dish out for extensions
because they're slower than molasses, but I guess I have no choice.

Any insight would be wonderful
Thanks
Melissa

Well, I think she's wrong. You can apply for AOS as soon as you are married with a K1, so with K3 I think you apply as soon as you get to the US.

Your local Service Center makes the call on whether you can apply for AOS with an approved 130 or you can apply with simply a copy of the initial NOA for your 130.
