Cairo came through finally
Got word today that my fiance's visa was issued (finally) and he should receive it within a week. He will probably just go pick it up at the express mail in Alexandria to save time.
I'm hoping he can be here as soon as next week!
It has been tooooo long!!!
Thanks for all your responses and I will continue to think and pray for those of you still struggling with the Cairo consulate--especially Masri. May God give you and your wife patience and be gracious to you.

Thank you for your kind wishes, much apprreciated. I contacted my senator's office earlier this week and explained the situation to them. Hopefully, they will have better luck with Cairo.
