Brit with H1-B Marrying an Irish Green card Holder
SO here is the situation.
Getting Married real soon to an Irish gren card holder. She has been here 7/8 years. I have been here for 4 years on L1- B visa's and now a H1-B visa. The visa runs out Late 2005 so I have a just undr 3 years.
My soon to be wife has also applied for Citizenship about 8 months ago, she has done the fingerprints already just waiting for the interview etc.
So my questions would be:
Should I wait for her to become a Citizen before changing status (we live in NY)?
SHould I apply for the AOS as soon as were married?
What would be the best method to obtain a green card
thanks in advance
Gary H.

I would unless you H-1B is near the 6 year limit

Yes, once she becomes a citizen

Applying for AOS after marriage to a USC is the "best" way in your case I think
