Birth certificate for k3 visa???

I saw some people post the messages that they sent out the birth certificates for k3.
I did not. Does anyone know for sure if birth certificate is one of the required
documents for k3??? Thanks,

The US citizen needs to prove citizenship when filing I-129F, since non US citizens
are not permitted to file it.

If you look at the instructions in the latest revsion of the I-129F, it states that
you must hand in your birth certificate, etc.

I had one more thought, since the birth certificate is one of the documents that you
use to prove your an American citizen, assuming you were born in the US, etc. If you
are a citizen by Naturalization, then you need to send a copy of that certificate.
It's clearly stated in the I-129F application form.
