Birth Certificate
Hi
I am gathering documents together in advance for when packet 3 for K1 arrives and noticed that the short form birth certificate is not acceptable and only the full certificate showing both parents names is on it.
Well I sent off for one and when I got it I noticed that no information on fathers name was recorded (even though I know who it is and is still alive) is this likely to be an issue.
Thanks

Re: Birth Certificate
Hi,
Just a piece of info to share. I am required to get a full birth certificate showing both parents names for my K1 interview. I was able to get one from my local Town Hall, simply fill in a form and pay £7. It is an available alternative for people and is probably quicker than sending off for one.

thats ok if you live in the town you were born, if you live elsewhere you have to contact the authority you were born in

Yes, I apologise. It only works if you still live in the place where you were born. Sorry to confuse anyone.
