for AOS interview do you need to bring all bank statements like let's say for several months, or the letter from bank saying that couple has joint account is ENOUGH?
because, me and my wife we mostly use our personal accounts (more convinient) and for that reason not much action going on in our joint account...
please advise or share experience

I don't have a bank account and to be honest although I have been trying to open one without a S/S I don't need one.
But what I was going to say is that you do not have to have a joint account or a bank account for both of you just the bill payer.
I am sure that there are alot of folks out there who use their partners card ATM etc and thier spouse just gives them house keeping.
I have heard many people who do not have accounts joint or otherwise.

Some banks vary on it, but all you really have to have for most banks to
open an account is a Taxpayer ID number from the IRS.
As for the original poster's question: When we got our original interview
letter from Memphis they asked for a joint bank account with both names on
it. So I guess it goes down to be up to the interviewer.

I brought the first and most recent statements plus one per year. If the
interviewer glanced at them before sticking it in the file I didn't notice -
but she had had plenty of evidence by then so I don't think it mattered.
