Hi. I believe our K1 i129f app was sent from NSC to MSC accidentally. My
fiancee and I have similar last names, only off by one letter. Our NOA1 has a
receipt number starting with MSC which led us to believe it was sent from NSC
to MSC with them thinking we were already married thus needed to be processed
from MSC. If this is the case, what should we do?? If it is sent back to NSC
will we regain our proper place in line (dec. 26th notice date)?
Please help.
thanks

Our K3 receipt number starts with msc as well, but it's being processed in
Nebraska. Don't worry about it. At least, I never assumed there was anything
to worry about with that... hopefully I'm right. At any rate, the only
difference between MSC and NSC is where the US Citizen lives, and the
processing times varying a little. It wouldn't matter whether or not you're
already married. The I-129f for the K3 visa (already married) goes to the
NBC, not the NSC.
But yeah, just don't worry about it, there's nothing weird going on based on
the receipt number![Smile](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
