Back in June you posted that you were sent a letter for a 2nd AOS
interview. What was the end result on that?

You had also mentioned that your original AOS was back in December
2002 (as was mine). It is now 8 months later since our interview and
still no call to come back in and have our passports stamped with the
I-551 stamp (my son and I). I mentioned previously that I had gone
into BCIS to check on our status in June and they said no security
checks had come back yet.

Anyhow I will be going in next month (parents are visiting now) to
once again check the status and to see if there is some way they can
check with the FBI or whoever is doing the checks to see what the hold
up is. My father seems to think that our file has probably been lost
somewhere at that end of it. If there are no results, I will be
getting a hold of my local Congressperson to see if I can get some
help there.

Just out of curious, if and when we ever get a call in, does the date
of the stamp get backdated to the date of our original interview?
