Default Assets- how much do you need for I-864 in London?

Can anyone confirm how much money in assets you need if you and your partner do not
already have a job lined up in the US? We are going into the London embassy for our
interview soon- I am worried that I do not have enough...I've called the embassy and
they cannot confirm what the amount is.

Please help!

It's five times the difference between the relevant 125% poverty level and the
income. For instance, if the income is 0, it would be $113,125 for a family of 4
(less for military, more for Alaska / Hawaii). However, the requirement to have a job
already lined up is not cut & dry. If you and/or your spouse have a good job history
and are in a reasonably in-demand field, they may just go on your past three years
and you'll be OK.

Andy.

Roughly $75,000 for 2 persons. Look at Andy's post for a family of 4...

On the INS website you can find all the proper info actually.
