I am just curious, for those of you that had to have your Advance Parole mailed to you...
What does the AP look like? is it just one sheet of paper?
When the service center processed your AP, did they send you another notice or do they immediately send the AP?
Thanks....

They give you three pages: one is a letter saying they processed your request for AP to travel based on your AOS, etc, and then there are two identical copies of the AP itself with your picture on it.
It just says you can re-enter the USA and your reason for travelling abroad is whatever reason you gave them when you applied, that's it. With an official seal.
Try to make more copies as you travel because POE sometimes keeps one. Show them the original and let them have a copy.
It's pretty straightforward.

Oh. Mine does.
It makes me a little nervous because my initial reason to request an Ap was to pick up my daughter in Mexico and bring her to the States with us.
Obviously that reason expired on trip #1.
All subsequent trips have had nothing to do with that, and some trips I've taken have been without her... I also plan on travelling to other countries not Mexico and wonder if they'll have a problem at POE with that.
But the officer who issued this said it doesn't matter that it states what the reason and destination is, the important thing is not to let it expire. So far he has been right, but I still worry every time I show it.
