So your RFE ended up costing you around a month of extra waiting. Can you remind us again what it was that caused the RFE and cost you this extra time? Thanks.

Ie the professionally taken film dated photo
the passport stamps
the boarding passes the other photos were not good enough
they wanted every boarding pass and affidavits from friends and family as well (he he I'm being obnoxious)
they just wanted an everest of evidence as opposed to the original mountain they got. all they asked for in the RFE they already had so I sent it back again with lots more plus affidavits from friends and family. 32+ pages in all

actually it took us a couple of weeks to get our evidence together as we were scrambling for every bit we could find. good news however is that it was only last monday that they recieved the evidence officially so hopefully just a week or two for you!

Soul,
Am back to checking status daily now. they offically received RFE evidence requested yesterday, so fingers crossed I get the same turn around as you guys.
Hope the rest of the journey speeds by now, and will keep an eye out for you in London if I get the quick NOA2.

Hi Soul,
I'm in PHX, wife is Canadian from Vancouver. She received her K-3 in September, and we're trying to decide if it's worth the bother and wait (29 months) to adjust status in Phoenix., as opposed to waiting for I-130 approval at the CSC and doing the "greencard" interview at the US Consulate in Montreal.
Currently, the CSC is publishing an I-130 processing date of 02-04-03. Ours was received by them 03-08-03, so we're close!
Not sure if any of this applies to you; as a K-1, I believe you're "stuck" with AOS in Phoenix.
Regards

Well, I called the National BCIS Cust Service line (per a previous post), and it seems that Phoenix accepts I-485 forms via mail ONLY.
Should we go that route (not very likely), at least we won't have to stand for hours in the blazing heat!
Cheers
