Hi folks,

I'll be getting married in NY city but living in another state. Does anyone know if
when I go to the Manhattan office to obtain a marriage license I can apply for a
certified copy in advance and have it mailed to my new address in Seattle once the
priest submits it?

Also, for the certified copy I read that it's $15 for a one-year search, I guess that
still applies to me even though I'd be requesting a copy as soon as the priest
submits the marriage certificate?
