We recently got a bit paniced about getting Advanced Parole for a
visit home for the holidays. We got it, here is the timeline.
9/24/02: AP application mailed to Arlington, VA
10/28/02: $110 check cashed
10/29/02: One year, multiple entry AP granted.
Question:
How many entries can be done? There are 3 AP copies, two have
pictures and one does not. Do they take the AP form when you come
back?
Thanks

So long as you got it for multiple copies, all you need to keep after the
first entry is the top copy designated for the alien. In practice when I
used my AP (a total of seven times over two different APs) no airline took
the 3rd copy "To transportation line" and the INS only kept their copy for
the first AP. They'll stamp your copy multiple times.
