AP still not approved!
My wife just received her EAD card in the mail today, but still no approval
or anything on the AP. I called the disinformation line today and she said
that they are only working on 24 Apr apps. We cant believe that we got the
EAD before AP? ANy others with similar circumstances?

We're still waiting on both, filed April 26...Honestly, I'm not sure what's going on at NBC...a bunch of us are tracking the EADs and APs filed there, and there are hardly any AP approvals, there are more EAD approvals, even though they are supposedly way ahead in processing AP. Bottom line, I guess we simply can't trust those processing reports. It'll come when it comes!

I'm the same as your wife....NOA for EAD and AP 05/05/04...EAD received yesterday..still no AP...even though I have written to them twice asking if they could expedite it!!! At least we have one of them.

Mine is same. NOA for AP and EAD is May 10th. My EAD got approved on July 21. Still waiting for AP.

Did you check the online status? On July 22, USCIS sent us emails that my
wife's EAD and AP were approved. She received the EAD a few days later and
the AP about a week after that. The Receipt Date on the initial NOAs were
both April 13.

So, where is the AP?? I'm about ready to file a Freedom of Information
Act request just for the heck of it!!

NOA date on EAD and AP apps is 12/16/2003. Called the 1-800 line
several times, and requested 3 status inquiries so far. Still nothing
yet.

Where is everyone submitting from? I know AP and EAD are being
processed at NBC. We got NOAs of April 20, filing through Tampa. No
changes on the web pages other than possible attaching of fingerprints to
EAD and AOS.

Our AP (Advance Parole) was sent and received by mid-January... can't
remember the exact date...
Anyway... It has been, bascially 7 months... and NOTHING... they
won't send us a letter, they won't tell us anything...
It was sent through the Missouri Service Center... eveidently it got
lost. and they won't help us.

Odd, seems everyone is in the same boat - see my sig for details. They seem to be concentrating on EADs for some reason. However, our AP has been "touched" a couple of times since biometrics (the date has moved, but no change in status). Maybe they're gathering them all together and will approve everything next week?

I'm tired of waiting for these damn AP and EAD apps. It's been been
nearly 8 months since the NOA date on my receipt. I check my online
status every day, but it hasn't budged from the original date. After
3 status inquiries, I still haven't heard anything. Contacted my
Senator's office yesterday to see if they can intervene on my behalf
and find out what's going on.

Well, I sent off a formal request to the CIS Ombudsman today.
Hopefully, that office can help me find out where my missing
applications went.

Wish me luck to me too... Same as you, I have been waiting 8 months from the date they received my EAD, AP applications... this week, my husband contacted our congress person, she was very nice and promise to help... hopefully we will be able to get an aswer soon...
