AP question
Hi, ALL
I have a question regarding Advance Parole.
I applied on AOS in Sep 3,2002 and not long time ago I got Advance Parole
and I need to travel outside the USA. My last B1 visa expired on March 11,
2002 then I applied for extension, but got a denial on Jul 24, 2002 and on
Sep 3, 2002 I applied on AOS. Do they consider period between applying for
visa and getting a denial as being out of status? Is there any possibility
that I will meet any problems upon entering the US?
Thanks,
Sergiy

I was once in was in your situation with only difference that i came back on a new h-1b ( Mine was not AOS case). there was no problem entering. but that was 4 yrs ago.
I think as long as you had applied for your extension in time ( before the expiry of your I-94) you should be ok.
So i don't think that should be any problem . Please post your status once you come back to usa so that i can know for sure that nothing has changed now.
By the way what port of entry are you coming back
