I got my AP documents from Louisville yesterday after filing for it along with EAD (1
year, which I got in 1 week) and of course AOS in person. The time they estimated was
30 days but from time of application to issuance was 42 days, no biggie may not have
to use it if I am lucky. The catch was along with my AP document was a second AP
document with a completely different name on it, male gender at that BUT and yes
there is a BUT .... it had my photo on the bottom of it. JUST ANOTHER INS SCREWUP!!
Got it all sorted out, sent it back registered mail as per INS intructions, they also
told me to make sure I took a copy of it before I sent it. I do feel sorry for the
guy waiting for it, hope he doesn't have to travel anytime soon.
And yes Rete I have already posted my experience on the appropriate site. Your
nagging sure does work.
