AOS Timeline - An Update
Hi all.
Here again is our timeline:
01-28-2002 Mailed the AOS application to the INS (San Antonio). 01-31-2002 Received
our return receipt in the mail. 02-28-2002 INS cashed in the checks. 03-13-2002
Received our confirmation receipt and my EAD appointment letter.
03-21-2002 Went to the INS and got my EAD card. It took less than 15
minutes. 04-12-2002 Received Fingerprint appointment in the mail. 05-17-2002
Fingerprinted. Took less than 20 minutes. 07-29-2002 Got my AOS Interview letter.
07-31-2002 I'm now officially a CPR here in the US!
08-13-2002 Got this welcome letter from the INS, where it also stated
that my GC should arrive in the mail in 2-3 weeks.
08-15-2002 Actual GC arrived... woohooo! I wish I submitted a better
photo... :P
