The problem is, the INS receipt we got after filing for my AOS, got stuck and
completely destroyed beyond recognizable condition (in fact it must still be inside
the vacuum, and there is no way I can get it) by those powerful car vacuums. I have
my AOS interview in May. Is there any way I can get a new receipt, will the INS
officer ask for this receipt at the interview? I have the EAD receipt separetly (at
least this one was saved. Any input is helpful..

If you are talking about the little cash register receipt you received, then you are
okay. It wasn't asked for at the AOS interview. It is invaluable to you as proof of
your filing in the event you never hear from INS re the interview or the EAD, etc.

Yes, it's that tiny receipt, that looks like the one you get at the groceries. I've
seen people saying that you should take care of that with your life...lol. I got my
EAD the same day I filed the I-485 and I-130. The officer gave me the interview date
the same day, so hopefully we'll be okay. Thanks for responding.
