Re: AOS Questions
According to the USCIS this is what happens when it's an initial evidence and not additional evidence.

Re: AOS Questions
I'm not majorly annoyed about that, it's an inconvenience though.
I genuinely have no idea what it could be for. I have a exact replica of what we sent in and I can't see anything that's missing. Hopefully they just misplaced something and it's just a case of us sending another copy in. I'll update once we get the notice in the mail.

I've heard of this happening for the former.

Re: AOS Questions
Biometrics all done. Was a pretty slick process by USCIS standards!
11am appointment, arrived at 10.45am, produced appointment letter and filled in a form. Was fingerprinted and photographed by 11am and out the door by 11.05am. Can't complain about that!

Re: AOS Questions
The biggy I've seen is keep your credit utilization very low. I use my card throughout the month to gain cashback, but I also make payments every few days for the entire balance.
When the statement date comes around they only report to the agencies how much you have used on that date. So even though I've used about $700 of my measly $500 limit, the figure reported to the agency was about $11.

Got my first credit report come back today with a few months of a secured card - already into "Good".

Is that with Wells Fargo? I only setup a $300 limit just for ease so I can know to spend no more than $150 a month on it etc!

Re: AOS Questions
When you graduate to an unsecured do not close down your secured account (if it's a different institution). Credit score is also improved with longevity.
