Judging by timelines from VisaJourney (obviously taken with a pinch of salt) it looks like the Denver CO office is one of the slowest so that'll be a nice enjoyable wait!
The process times for AOS can be very slow Ben - but here's something to think about. We did my AOS in December 2012 and by end of August 2013 it still hadn't been processed. Calling the benefits office didn't help so we contacted the 2 senators in our state to request assistance. It's very hard to know what makes a difference but suffice it to say, I got a call back within 3 days of contact from the senator's office and my case was approved the next day. I had a resident's card in hand Sept 4th. I'll take help wherever I can get it

From what I have been told, locale isn't necessarily always a factor. If the office in your location is struggling and cannot accept new cases then it would go to a different one.

So fingers crossed yours goes to one of the ones which is going faster! I've had my AOS, EAD and AP documents going since October and still nothing yet. I only have 2 weeks left on my EAD/AP wait before they breach the 90 day timeline.

Thanks all, we've sent the package out so hopefully it's all okay.

One other random question...

The expiration date on my I-94 is December 12th 2017, IF my AOS process hasn't been completed by then, does that date automatically get extended and I don't need to leave the US by that date?

You're I-94 basically doesn't matter anymore.. when it expires, it expires. My I-94 has been expired for 2 months now. You're in the country legally since you've filed for AOS. Your I-797C's prove you're here legally alongside your EAD & Green card whenever it does get approved.

The only thing holding me back from getting a long term drivers license is my EAD which I am still waiting for it to come through.

As Smartyy says, your I-94 is meaningless now. You don't have to leave the USA by that time, and it also doesn't get extended.

Why does your I-94 for entry on K-1 have such a long admit until (if that's what you're meaning by expiry)?

So I just received two text messages confirming receipt etc etc.

I sent in the three forms though, so should I be expecting a third text or email or am I just being pedantic?

I didn't bother with AP, so received individual texts/emails/letters for EAD/AOS.

What did you receive?

Be wary that the email/SMS system is sketchy and isn't guaranteed. We didn't receive any back at NOA2.

I sent in AOS, EAD and AP.

I've only got two text messages and emails though with the following:

USCIS: Your case was received. Receipt # XXXXXX. Official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) to follow in mail. Msg & Data rates may apply. DO NOT REPLY

Right, but if you look up the number on USCIS it will tell you which form it relates to.

Sorry I should've mentioned I tried that. At the moment it says the receipt numbers are invalid.

They both begin with MSC followed by 10 digits.

Ah. MSC is the correct location.

I received my texts late in the night/morning, so obviously no correlation between working hours.

I'd give it some time. Expect a physical notice in next couple weeks.

I'll try not to sweat it, I was just confused as to why I only got two notifications as I sent in three but maybe EAD+AP are under the same I-797.

The EAD and AP are issued as a combo card, so it's possible they are under one case number. I don't know for sure.

I believe that is right Rene

Ben: of all the applications we've done in this immigration process, the AOS case was the only one that never showed up in the 'check my status' service. That message you have about invalid receipt number? It still says that for me if I enter that number, 4 years later!
