AOS questions
We are married on aug 9 and our last date for 90 days was aug 15.
We called before the wedding to INS to see the AOS had be there before
aug15 but they say no as long your mariage certificate say you are
married before aug 15.But they say we have to come in person to
fresno.
Have everybody to go in person for filling AOS or you sent it by mail?
Somebody have experience what they do when you come,They just check
your papers our OK or is it the interview they do?
Somebody know at what time you have to be in Fresno so you can go in
the same day?
When you file for EAD ( i had a 90 Day EAD) ,they give it you the same
day or how long take it?

My husband filed in person. All they did was check to see that he had all the correct papers and then they gave him his EAD. That was in Pittsburgh though, so I don't know about Fresno. He had to go back about two months later to do his fingerprints and we are still waiting for the interview date. Good luck

Fresno is one of the BCIS offices that actually has explicit instructions on their web page. Go to www.bcis.gov, click on field offices to the left, then click on California and you'll find Fresno.
Initially you will just file, interview will be later. The wait maybe long in the morning, some people start lining up at 5 am. However, the line moves fast once the door opens between 7:30 and 8:00 am and the BCIS officer at the reception is very knowledgable, helpful and nice.
