Hi Julia,

Let me congratulate you on getting the fingerprinting date.
If you remember i wrote to you earlier as well because i had filed in
the same week when you did
and i have not heard anything from them (Not yet).

I am surprised to see that you received notice of action from Missouri
Service center/National Benefit
Center (MSC/NBC) and not NYC local office.

Do you think they transfferred your file from NYC local office to
MSC/NBC and they are replying to all
the queries??? May be my file also got transffered there.

I am mentioning this because recently i had applied for TRAVEL
DOCUMENT to NYC local district office
(as i can only file at the office where my AOS application is filed
which in my case is NYC local office)
and i was surprised to see after two weeks that my application was
forwarded to MSC/NBC and i received
a letter from NYC local office saying my application is being
transffered to MSC as its faster and a receipt
and the actual document from MSC/NBC, so looking at your case i think
may be they forwarded
my file to MSc as well. What do you think??

I think i should also expect my notice from MSC/NBC soon.

Good Luck with everything.

I am curious how you were able to check your status online. As far as I remember, INS NYC only gives a yellow receipt (like the cash register receipt) with no case # or whatever to track for.

Those of us who received NOAs from the MSC/NBC in respect of applications filed in NYC can check our cases online using the receipt number on the NOA.
